THE VISION
Becky Osborne, a passionate horse caregiver residing in Wheatridge, Colorado, decided to pursue a long-held dream of building a horse barn that reflects the love and devotion she feels for her horses. “A horse-friendly and safe space that’s also very serviceable and easy to maintain.” In addition, the structure must maintain comfortable tempertures for the horses. It was clear that we needed to include an insulation package capable of handling the extreme temperature fluctuations of Wheat Ridge. Summers can see peaks into the 100s, while winters frequently dip into the 20s.
THE JOURNEY
As Becky embarked on her journey to find the perfect company to bring her vision to life, she researched numerous steel structure providers. Metacero Metal Buildings stood out among them. With exceptional customer service and willingness to customize the barn to her specifications made them a perfect fit. Unlike other companies that offered only standard kits, Metacero was ready to tailor the structure to meet Becky’s unique requirements. Their customer-centric approach and competitive pricing sealed the deal. However, as with any construction project, especially in the realm of steel structures, dreams require meticulous planning and engineering to come true.
“What truly set Metacero apart was their commitment to customization. The provided detailed drawings and notes for the inspectors promptly, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free process.”
“… I got drawings, I got notes for the inspectors, all those sorts of things in a very timely fashion.”
THE OUTCOME
The barn, measuring 36 by 40 feet, approximately 1,450 square feet, and standing 18 feet tall, was built to perfection. Opting for the insulation package was one of the best decisions Becky made. It ensures the barn stays warm in the winter and cool during the scorching summer months.”
Every detail that went into the building has turned out even better than Becky had imagined! The building interior houses a safe, comfortable space for the the horses where they can reside in their stalls. The insulation provides the comfort during all of the Colorado seasons, while providing a bright, clean finish. The exterior features a color contrasting wainscot that gives a charming curb appeal.
Every day, Becky pinches herself in disbelief that this dream has come to fruition. The barn is not only a safe haven for her horses but also a testament to the power of dedication and the right support. It’s idyllic, and she often finds herself wishing she were 20 years younger to enjoy it even longer.
